Today I’m sharing my favorite chocolate icing recipe (technically it’s my mom’s recipe, but she’s not writing this post, so…….). This recipe is excellent as an icing for chocolate cake; however, it is To-Die-For when used as a dip with strawberries and bananas, or simply licked off a spoon, finger (when no one is watching), or plate (all those years my mom told me to “clean my plate” are finally paying off!). On occasion I’ve even been known to dab some on my balls (if you’re confused and offended about why I would do this, follow the link to my previous post for clarification).
- 1/2 cup Coconut Milk (be sure to mix can thoroughly)
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 3 cups Powdered Sugar (sifted)
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 3 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Optional: pinch of cinnamon or nuts
